Description

This brush is specifically designed for applying shoe cream. Horsehair has a unique "stickiness" that allows it to firmly catch the cream and blend it into leather shoes. The handle is made of beech wood, and its size makes it comfortable in the hand, increasing work efficiency. This is an excellent product that is both durable and carefully made.

Care

Remove dust from the base of the brushes using a toothpick or bamboo skewer. You can also use a brush cleaner or rub the brushes together to remove dirt. *Please avoid washing with water as the dust will harden when wet.

Miyagawa Hake Brush Factory, with its workshop in Moto-Asakusa, Tokyo, has been carrying on traditional Edo techniques for over 90 years since its founding in 1921. The techniques of its predecessor, who has been recognized as a Contemporary Master Craftsman and a Tokyo Metropolitan Traditional Craftsperson, are now passed down to third-generation Miyagawa Kumiko. The company's techniques are also used in the brick restoration work at Tokyo Station, making it a renowned shop highly trusted by professionals. The brushes are made using carefully selected natural bristles, with the quality and quantity of bristles adjusted to suit the purpose, resulting in a feel that sets them apart from machine-made products.
