Description

This copper tea canister features a double-walled structure that provides excellent airtightness, preserving the deliciousness of tea for a long time. It holds approximately 100g of sencha tea and is ideal for storing green tea or black tea, which need to be protected from moisture. The beautiful hammered patterns, created by artisans through careful hammering, give it a solid feel. The lustre and patina will increase with use, becoming a tool unique to you.

Care

Wipe gently with a soft cloth. If you notice any dirt, wipe with a damp cloth that has been wrung out tightly, and then wipe dry. Avoid washing the entire product as this may cause water to seep in and cause damage.

Since its founding in 1945, Fukido has been producing hammered copperware in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture for three generations. This traditional craft involves beating a single copper plate with hammers of various sizes to create beautiful, seamless vessels. The artisans' motto is "The Heart of the Millstone." Hoping to bring joy to the user, the hammer marks are hammered in carefully, one by one, giving the product the warmth and durability that can only be achieved through handwork.
